I am Tobias Eriksson, the leader of our Common Data Services unit, and I am looking for a talented Cloud Solution Architect to help us build awesome analytical products for customers across all countries of Telia Company.
Your next challenge?
At Telia Company, you will have a key role in our group common Data & Analytics team and help us to create true business value through data and analytics and make Telia Company a more data-driven organization. To succeed, we need to shorten time to insight and build even more reliable analytical products. This is where we need your help.
We have set a new target architecture with strong focus on establishing public cloud capabilities, in addition to our current on-premise platforms. As a Cloud Solution Architect your main responsibility will be creating end-to-end solution architectures on public cloud (AWS and GCP) but also driving continuous improvements of our cloud and on-premise platforms together with other architects.

You master the art of solution architecture, but you are also comfortable with doing hands-on work when needed. You value long-term sustainable solutions but understand the importance of balancing quality with speed and cost.

Your Experience:
Experience as a solution architect from the data domain, e.g. Data Warehouse, Big Data and advanced analytics solutions
Experience from architecting end-to-end IT solutions supporting operational business processes, i.e. not only for analytics use cases
Experience from architecting multiple analytics solutions including real time requirements using public cloud technologies (preferably AWS or GCP)
Experience in identifying, articulating, and recommending the NFRs for the new solutions and integrations for effective monitoring and maintenance. Good to have awareness of security protocols
Good knowledge in Data Governance principles and awareness on concepts of Data Quality, Data lineage and GDPR principles
Good knowledge in system integration, e.g. API and message bus technologies
Background as a software engineer is preferred
Good knowledge of DevOps, DataOps and MLOps
Degree in Computer Science or similar field
Fluent in English
