The Cloud team is a part of the Technology organization at Volvo Autonomous Solutions. We design the solutions of the future including connectivity, teleoperation, cybersecurity and cloud services for autonomous traffic, fleet and productivity management. Role description
We are eager to get to know an enthusiastic and devoted system thinker who will engage in designing, developing, and implementing a cloud architecture that meets the needs and requirements of our product. The domain covers the site management system, cloud and edge setup, microservices and also our connectivity and teleoperation solution. You will both have the opportunity to set a cloud architecture and strategy as well as work hands on with implementation. You will work closely with product teams to ensure that we have the right, scalable solutions.
You have actively worked with cloud computing, but you still might have a good understanding of edge or local server computing. You have experience of DevOps which you have gained from working in the industry. We will appreciate your experience of working with Kubernetes and tools connected to it as well as your knowledge of CI/CD. You will most probably get to work with Azure platform, GitLab, GitOps workflow and Docker Engine.
You will be working together with our super skilled development teams and the architects from other domains so the end product will definitely be created as a joint team effort. Thus you very much enjoy being at the heart of things keeping our total solution together.
You are an open and creative person with a can-do attitude. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken. In any case. You love being part of a dynamic, diverse, and fun team- you will fit right in!
In your role as a Senior Systems Engineer you will also get to participate in continuous improvement of our ways of working and you will be encouraged to dream big, dare to fail, innovate and always invest time in personal development.
