Your Weekday
Meniga provides digital banking solutions that creates value with the responsible use of transaction data which helps people lead better financial lives. We create data driven ecosystems for people, banks and businesses. Meniga Rewards is an app that provides you with rewards based on what you buy. The rewards results in cashback on your bank account after your purchase.
In your position as a Cloud Engineer you will be part of the Rewards team and you will play a key role in designing and implementing a reliable and scalable service infrastructure to power the Rewards platform. You will work in an autonomous and self-propelled team to build, maintain and support our rapidly growing platform runnning on AWS. Your team consist of skilled and prestigeless engineers from all over the world. We have daily standups every morning and we care about agile software processes. You will also work closely with the Tech Lead, Product Managers and UX-designer. At Meniga Rewards you will work with different technologies such as Python, Go, AWS, VPN, SOAP, GraphQL, REST, TLS/SSL, JSON and XML to name a few.

Analytical and problem-solving team player who cares about agile software processes, data-driven development, reliability and testability. You have great technical documentation skills and take responsibility for your own tasks and projects in coordination with your team. You facilitate across teams and help foster collaboration and knowledge sharing. We believe you work effectively with people who have a wide variety of skills, experiences and responsibilities. You value team success over personal success.
To be successful in this role we require you to have around 5 years working experience with AWS infrastructure and designing, writing and deploying microservices, preferably within the fintech sector. We believe that you have experience with monitoring and service discovery. Moreover, you will need to be proficient in English written and spoken communication.
