• Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

Our culture is characterized by openness, diversity, safe to fail, and most importantly team spirit. The people who work here are our most important asset, so we will invest in you to help you grow with us. We are working agile, using methods/frameworks like Scrum and SAFe and we work in 10 week increments (PI planning).

Who are you?

We are looking for an experienced data engineer/architect that has a commercial thinking and wants to embark on a journey to make a world leading manufacturer like Scania more data driven. You can really lead and drive initiatives and you are a skilled communicator that can convey your messages to both tech-savvy as well as other colleagues in the commercial domain.

Qualifications/experience required to be successful in this role:

• 3+ years experience in enterprise architecture and data modelling
• 5+ years hands-on experience as datawarehouse developer and ETL/ELT
• Exposure and knowledge of data products and Data mesh context

• Very strong in SQL and other Programming languages preferred (Python/Scala/Java)
• Exposure to streaming data (Apache Spark/Kafka/AWS Kinesis/Confluent) is valued
• Prior experience in managing data engineers is valued

You grow from working with others and find it natural to network, both with co-designers and in cross-functional teams in an agile context. You enjoy sharing your knowledge, methods, and tools.

Our offer

At Scania, our focus is on providing our employees with a long-term career facilitated by individual personal development plans. You will have the freedom to steer your growth regardless of your ambition to become a specialist or a generalist. We work in hybrid-mode with the teams deciding on where you will work, from the office or from home. Flexibility and listening to individual needs are the guiding principles. You will also have the possibility to work from Scania's newly opened hub downtown Stockholm.

In addition to an exciting career, we offer benefits such as flexible working hours, performance bonuses, lunch at reduced prices, car leasing, a pension plan, and much more.
