If this sounds like a challenge you're interested in, we're now looking for Cloud Engineers to strengthen our hybrid team in Stockholm.
The position
We are looking for experienced Cloud Developers, Cloud Engineers, and Cloud Architects to build the next generation Viaplay API platform in AWS.
You will drive the research, planning, and implementation to build a highly scalable and available serverless-first API platform.
This platform will allow developers to be autonomous in building serverless APIs that can scale to high traffic events, such as live sports, video-on-demand, and kids content.
You will be building the infrastructure that will support 12.5 million subscribers by 2025.
The journey ahead
• Architect and implement a global cell-based API platform, optimized for scalability and performance
• Solving difficult problems relating to scalability, availability, and automation.
• Collaborate with security, CICD and other teams to manage dependencies.
• Lead and drive initiatives aimed at improving and inspiring developer experiences.
• Consistently looking for technological improvements.
What we are looking for
We expect you to be driven, and always looking to self-improve. As part of the team, you will be a diligent investigator and contribute innovative ideas in a multi-region AWS environment.
At Viaplay, your personality matters as much as how good you are at what you do. But in order to be successful, we believe you need the following:
• Professional AWS Experience: 4 years minimum.
• Proven experience scaling infrastructure in AWS.
• Knowledge of serverless technologies.
• An Infrastructure-as-code-first mindset.
Bonus skills:
• AWS Certifications.
• Experience in one or more software development languages( Ex. Python, Java, Golang, Rust or NodeJS).
• Access / User Management skills (AWS IAM, SSO, Control Tower).
