We are looking to hire great people, who are passionate about using their talents to generate success. We are growing and looking for a skilled Cloud Architect.
You'll be part of a highly skilled team of developers exploring how far we can take technology to build an excellent platform. With your knowledge and experience you'll get the opportunity to shape the way we work and influence which tools we use.
You will work with building infrastructure with code using CloudFormation, integrate AWS services and automate deployment with CI/CD, pipelines, ECS Fargate and Docker/Serverless. You will build low latency, highly scalable and redundant cloud services, mainly in AWS as well as write backend code in typescript, node.js and graphql when required, or frontend development if that is your direction.
Tasks include (but are not limited to):
• ensure that our platform is stable, scalable and optimized.
• ensure that our deployment pipelines are working smoothly, and that our CD/CI is allowing us to safely and effectively launch new features and patches.
• be responsible for expanding our cloud infrastructure and deploying new services or improving old ones where needed.
• ensure that by using best practices, our systems and data is protected from outside intrusions and our cloud infrastructure is secure.
Who are you?
We believe that you have a passion for infrastructure and cloud services, preferably AWS, as well as backend and/or frontend development. You always want to find the best solutions and are eager to learn new skills. It's important for you to always perform and that you write solid well-written code using best practice. You prefer to work agile and in teams with the common goal to make the best possible solution.
Qualifications
• 3+ years experience in backend development using typescript, node.js, graphql or similar
• Work experience in building cloud services with AWS or Google Cloud
• Mastering REST API:s and other server-to-server protocols
• Experience with and understanding of using SQL-databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL or similar
• Experience with and understanding of using Document Databases
• Hands on experience with AWS Cloud and Docker related to computer, network, storage, content delivery, administration and security, deployment and management, and automation technologies
• Deep software development knowledge with respect to cloud architecture, design patterns and programming
Other Requirements
• Fluent in English
• Master's degree in computer science or similar
