As a Cloud Architect we would like you to be a team player with solid experience from leading a group of people and/or projects. Your deep experience in Cloud technologies and Cloud architecture will allow you to identify market trends and predict future opportunities in the Cloud world.
Your responsibilities
The jo of a Cloud Architect at H&M comes with a lot of responsibility - and lots of fun! Your to-do-list includes:
• Participate in the development and execution of the group wide technical strategy
• Own and drive execution of our strategic Cloud roadmap
• Ensure consistent cloud execution across H&M and drive cultural change
• Take architectural decisions ensuring that Cloud Office focuses on the right things
• Maintain and leverage relationships with strategic Cloud providers and partners
• Lead forums and collaboration initiatives with development teams to advice on Cloud architecture
• Develop, document and evangelize policies and guidelines for how we consume and use IaaS and PaaS service
• Advice engineering teams on how to develop a Cloud optimized application architecture
• Make sure we have the proper guardrails to be secure while allowing for high degree of self-service for our engineering teams
• Lead the work in establishing runnable blueprints and best practices for different scenarios and application architectures
• Architectural guidance for Cloud native application architectures
Your skills

• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and a clear understanding of the retail business, its opportunities and challenges
• Clear understanding how Cloud is enabling business and digital transformation
• Public speaker with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely to varied audiences ranging from technical staff, executive management and consumers
• Clear understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies & demonstrated DevOps expertise including automation and continuous delivery model
• Passionate advocate for engineering effectiveness and making sure Cloud Office always aims to make our engineering teams more productive
• Experience with agile development methodologies like Scrum, Kanban or SAFe
• Experience in working with offshore partners
• Proven ability to mentor, guide and inspire
