As clinical trial manager you play a key role with responsibility for planning and conducting clinical trials activities within the implant and surgical area. You are forming the job and the area of implant trials, and you have the potential to further develop it as our product range and Oticon Medical grows. Based at Oticon Medical?s headquarter in Askim, Gothenburg you will become part of an interdisciplinary environment at Oticon Medical's offices in Askim and Copenhagen.
The job
You will become responsible for pre-market as well as post-market clinical trials related to hearing implants, and your primary tasks will be to:
• Build relationships with clinicians
• Design clinical studies within the area of hearing implants and write study protocols and case report form
• Negotiate study contracts
• Write documentation for study approval by ethical committee and competent authorities
• Analyze data and conduct statistical analyzes
• Write publications and ?white papers?
• Deliver implant related lectures at customer events and international conferences
• Provide clinical competences in internal development projects on hearing implants
• Get pre-market clinical studies related to implant development projects conducted
• Ensure clinical studies are monitored
You can expect 40-60 days of business travel per year.
Competences and qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
• Experience with designing and preparing documentation for clinical trials for medical devices
• Experience in writing publications
• Relevant academic background with minimum a master degree
• Good communication and presentation skills, and speak and write English proficiently
Preferable experiences
• Experience from obtaining approval from clinical committee and competent authorities on clinical trials
• Experiences from negotiating contracts on clinical studies
• Can perform statistical analyzes
• Experience with bone anchored or hearing implantable devices
