hela Sverige In this role, you have the opportunity to on behalf of Philips support the innovative research conducted at a state of the art new MR, MR-RT and MR-Linac facility in Uppsala, Sweden. You accomplish this by exploring new technical and clinical innovations mainly within MR in radiation therapy together with the customer, our team of clinical scientists, Philips R&D, and researchers globally. The support you will provide includes both technical aspects such as programming the MR systems, providing and installing new research tools and functionality, as well as taking an active part in the scientific research conducted at the site.The position is based in the Stockholm/Uppsala region and will earliest be filled during the second half of 2019.You are responsible forExecuting clinical science customer projects within diagnostic MR and MR in radiation therapy on customer siteCollaborating with medical doctors and physicists and providing technical support for their research projects and publicationsCoordinating and collaborating with Philips' central clinical science organizations and R&D and foster collaboration between institutes with mutual interests Providing expert support to other teams within Philips and advise them on new clinical and technical developmentsBuilding and maintaining active relationships with the customer and our partnersBeing an ambassador for your research site towards PhilipsKeeping yourself up to date with the latest technical and scientific developments in the field You are part ofOur Nordic Education and Clinical Science organization, consisting of around 25 colleagues responsible for supporting and educating our medical imaging customers in the Nordic countries. Your own team of MR clinical scientist consists of 5-6 highly trained and talented individuals working at customer sites across the Nordics.You report directly to the Nordic Clinical Science Manager.To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experienceA degree in biomedical engineering, medical physics or equivalent, preferably a PhD or equivalent documented research experienceExtensive practical experience of using MR in a clinical and/or research environment, preferably on a Philips MR systemResearch experience of MR in radiation therapyGood technical and programming skills and experience of MR pulse programmingAt least 5 years of experience working in a clinical, academic or industrial research environmentExcellent verbal and written language skills in English, proficiency in Swedish is an advantageExcellent interpersonal skills and good speaker/presenter skillsWillingness to travel internationallyIn return, we offer youA unique chance for you to become a recognized expert in MR-RT and work with the latest and most innovative products and clinical proceduresImprove the way our solutions are used in clinical care and research and work with the leading hospitals and universities in the NordicsExcellent networking opportunities and chances to develop your expertise by interacting with customers, researchers and experts internationally
