hela Sverige We are looking for a Clinical Research Physician. The role will be located at our global research center in Gothenburg, Sweden. As a Research Physician at AstraZeneca you will get a unique opportunity to develop professionally while bringing new medicines to patients. You will use your scientific and clinical knowledge in collaboration with colleagues across the globe. You will also get to collaborate with multiple functions involved in the research and development process and learn how strategic direction is set and decisions are made during drug development. You will be supported by engaged managers and colleagues.
As a Clinical Research Physician you will conduct clinical trials, including the design, monitoring, data interpretation and reporting. An important task is to ensure that all clinical studies operate to the highest ethical and safety standards and in compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory requirements. As a Clinical Research Physician, you will support the clinical project team and assist the Global Clinical Lead (GCL) with the design & interpretation process, establishing clear design objectives for clinical programs and studies. You will provide medical input into the content of core labelling texts and give medical support for commercial activities, as well as the scientific component of the pricing and value strategy. You will also provide medical and scientific expertise as well as tactical and strategic medical input to the development of AstraZeneca's compounds; primarily from Phase II b to Phase IV and occasionally certain phase I activities.
Minimum Requirements
* Medical Degree.
* Board certification in internal medicine, endocrinology, nephrology, cardiology, anesthesia or other relevant clinical specialty.
* Fluent in written and spoken English
Desirable Requirements
* Board certification in Pediatrics
* Board certification in Cardiology with a special interest in Heart Failure
* Experience from clinical research, preferably with a PhD degree or equivalent.
* Experience from pharmaceutical industry R&D work.
* IT/big data experience is regarded as a merit
* Team player with strong collaboration and presentation skills.
