You will become part of Biometrics & Information Sciences in AstraZeneca Global Medicine Development unit. In Mölndal we are today around 35 Programmers supporting Clinical drug projects and we are now looking to expand our Programming group with a number of permanent and temporary positions with start as soon as possible.
The role
As a programmer in clinical development you are expected to provide with your programming expertise to clinical projects and studies in all phases of clinical development. This may also include work of more exploratory nature, e.g. modeling and simulation. Dependent on your experience you might also be expected to contribute to more strategic planning, to lead other Programmers in a project and act as expert contact to our external collaborators.
Minimum experience/requirements
These positions require a minimum of University degree (Mathematical, Statistical, Computer Science or Life Science) or equivalent experience.
As our work is conducted in cross functional projects in an international environment, good collaboration, communication and influencing skills as well as good written and spoken English are presumptions.
A successful candidate will have interest and ability to communicate their expertise to other skills/functions as well as basic understanding of statistical methodology.
Preferred experience/requirements
SAS Programming knowledge/certificate or similar statistical platform, knowledge of CDISC standards, leadership experience as well as experience from drug development or other related fields is an advantage.
