Position Summary:
This is a target base sales role within a specified territory whereby you will own the relationship between the Microbiology Business Division and assigned local accounts within Clinical and Veterinary segments promoting the Microbiology value proposition to customers in advancing Microbiology and AST testing through innovation.
You will develop a robust business plan for the territory focused to meet or exceed AOP through driving profitable growth. Our planned innovative product introductions planned for 2022 and beyond will deliver solution-based workflows to the customers and as such you will be responsible for developing an aligned strategy for the territory with vertical teams, functions and divisions in Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Effective management price, understanding the power of 1% and forecasting, providing market/competitive feedback and achieving customer satisfaction relative to sales activities will be part of your day to day activities.
This position will require an individual who is results oriented, highly motivated to succeed, operates with a sense of urgency, has an excellent work ethic and maintains the highest level of integrity and professionalism.

Minimum Requirements/Qualification:
Full / Clean Driving License (Travel will be 75% spent on territory)
Must live on territory
Minimum 1 to 5 years direct/recent experience with Microbiology products or similar
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Relevant skills/experience in a similar market environment
Degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry and related field with Biomedical Science Clinical. Experience with Microbiology Products

Highly Advantageous Requirements/Qualifications:
Proven sales experience and track record of over delivery, strong business acumen and customer focus
Proven ability to promote teamwork and work effectively across multiple business functions and networks internally
Understands / demonstrates the necessity for effective planning and execution using
Demonstrates strong relationship management and negotiation skills
Experience of Microbiology products within a clinical laboratory
