Key Responsibilities
As a Client & Operations Coordinator, you will play a central role in supporting daily operations and client interactions. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing voyage routing orders and operational requests from vessels and clients, ensuring timely processing and accurate system handling
Monitoring and resolving validation errors in reports to maintain high data quality and reliability
Performing operational route checks to support safe, efficient, and weather-aware vessel navigation
Monitoring vessel performance metrics, baseline consumption models, and performance trends to support voyage optimisation and operational analysis
Acting as a point of contact for customer and vessel inquiries, ensuring timely communication and coordination with internal operational and support teams
Analysing and updating voyage performance reports, including post-voyage evaluations and claims-related reporting when required
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in shipping operations, combined with a proactive mindset and a willingness to learn, contribute, and continuously improve.
You likely have:
Education in nautical sciences or maritime studies, with experience as a deck officer
Experience from an operations or chartering desk is beneficial, but not required
Strong proficiency in English, both written and spoken
A structured, detail-oriented, and analytical approach to work
A proactive mindset and confidence in asking questions and taking initiative
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Familiarity with meteorology and oceanography is considered an advantage
