hela Sverige We are expanding our crew and looking for a skilled Claim Manager! This is a role for you with great business acumen and who want to be a driving force in our strive for satisfied end users, operational ships and increased security!
Your role
As Claim Manager you 're operating the whole Claim Management function with daily collaboration with different parts of internal Saab organisations, with focus to drive all claim cases for the company against the customer or supplier. You will work in a broad spectrum, in an international and national environment and get to work with unique products.
You will handle, control, manage and measure all type of claims at Saab Kockums. This is done in close cooperation with the Risk and Quality department to avoid future quality deviation cost as well as cooperation with the delivery organization to handle the claims with a customer focus.
The main tasks are:
* Receive customer claims, analyze and judge if it is an approved customer claim.
* Continuously keep a dialogue with the customer in open claim cases.
* Claim negotiate with the customer and the suppliers with minimal economic impact for Saab Kockums.
* Drive the supplier claims with our procurement department and the suppliers
* Develop and maintain the Claim Management function and process
* Analyze the economic claim and warranty risks for the Business Units
* Be part of developing additional sales for the Business Units
* Keep up to date regarding to project deliveries and valid contracts
* Control the Warranty budgets
Placement for the position is Karlskrona, however we might be open for placement in Malmö. The role involve some business travels, mostly within Sweden but international travels might occur depending on our projects.
Your profile

Required skills
* Experience from naval products
* A technical engineering degree or great experience from above mentioned tasks
* Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish, verbal and written
Desired skills
* Experience from project management or proposal management
* Experience from working with shipbuilding contracts and projects
* Experience from procurement processes
* Experiences from commercial agreements and negotiations
* Driving license
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
