We are looking for a skilled Civil engineer who will help us design, develop and construct a variety of projects of the physically and naturally built environment from conception through to completion. You will work in a fast growing dynamic industry, contribute towards healthy economies and make a lasting positive impact to society.

The ideal would be a person who is Spanish or has studied / worked in Spain (since they will be in contact with the different project departments in Spain) but who has spent almost their entire working life in Sweden and in an Engineering developing projects, that makes him/her know the market there very well.
Civil Engineer responsibilities are:
Organize various kinds of construction projects in a safe, timely and sustainable manner
Perform on site investigations and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings and other)
Conduct technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications
Research and manage potential risks, materials and costs
Troubleshoot problems and provide advice in case of any emerging problems/deficiencies
Train and lead staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders
Prepare structures and services for usage
Supervise processes and prepare reports in project status
Review budget and purchase equipment/materials
Ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required
Our client seeks to incorporate Civil Engineer / Engineer of Roads, Canals and Ports for their Stockholm offices in the department of planning and organization of projects, being in continuous contact with project personnel from Spain.
(General position, functions, tasks, remuneration ... etc would depend on the type of profile).
Civil Engineer requirements are:
10+ years' experience of working on a Civil Engineer or other relevant position
Significant experience in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc
Profound experience with design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD,Civil 3D or similar
Strong project management and supervision skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
BS/MA in Civil Engineering with a valid license of professional engineer
