Writers, Subeditors, Project Managers, Editors, and White-paper writers
Citat is the Nordic region's leading communications production company, and we are seeing an increasing demand for our services. We are therefore looking for committed communications professionals who will understand our customers' needs and deliver beyond their expectations. Citat is a multicultural workplace with a large number of native-English-speakers and we are looking for people who are creative, professional and organized. You have the ability to work on several projects simultaneously and can work independently or in a group. Most of the available positions require good skills in both English and Swedish.
Writers
Can you write in English like a native speaker? Our editorial team provides copy for a number of customers who use either British, or American English, as their corporate language. We provide content for websites, intranet sites, magazines and brochures for clients in telecoms, finance, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing, among others. We are looking for candidates with a journalistic background who can turn technical jargon into concise, informative texts. Ideally, you will have experience in writing English-language content for newspapers, magazines or websites.
Subeditors
Can you craft text into a journalistic masterpiece? Our experienced subediting team needs someone with an eye for detail, a passion for grammar and great news sense. Citat's editorial team provides copy for customers who use English as their corporate language. Ideally, you will have experience editing English-language content for newspapers, magazines or websites. Experience in the telecoms and/or banking industries is an advantage.
Project Managers and editors
Citat Journalistgruppen is looking for several different types of editorial project managers, because our needs vary depending on the customer and the assignment. We would prefer that you have a background as an editor for a magazine or news agency. Many of our customers are now specifically looking for editors with a background in business journalism.
White-paper writers
We are looking for writers adept at identifying the needs of white-paper readers, at crafting credible texts that educate and inspire. We need people who enjoy the challenge of condensing complicated subjects into concise, well-constructed, persuasive copy, from both a marketing and business perspective. Ideally you will have many years' experience in writing white papers or similar documents for corporations, government departments or NGOs. Experience in the area of telecoms is an advantage. We are looking primarily for freelancers for this position.
The final application date is the October 3, 2008. Interviews are being conducted on an ongoing basis. All positions are temporary for the time being, though with the possibility of becoming permanent.
