hela Sverige We are now searching for someone to contribute to and further develop the core research topic of RISE Sustainable Business: Business model innovation as an enabler of a circular economy.
The placement for this position is Gothenburg or Stockholm
RISE Sustainable Business creates and spreads actionable and scientific knowledge on how to combine profitability with environmental sustainability. Especially through increased material circulation and servitisation. This is how we contribute to RISE overall mission of accelerating innovation in Sweden. RISE - Research Institutes of Sweden, is a governmentally owned Swedish research institute with 2800 employees.
About the position
Sustainable Business is a team of 13 people. Our members have diverse backgrounds as university researchers, seasoned business leaders and consultants/coaches. We focus on value chains for serially manufactured products. Our work is based on the idea that profits create action and that we need to create action towards sustainability. The business model perspective is at the core of our activities and connects to all of our related projects about product- and mobility-as-a-service, future adaptive product design, financing, innovation accelerators, willingness to pay, procurement, and management systems.

Who are you?
We expect you to:
Be up to date on the latest research in relation to the scientific literature keyword "circular business models".
Be an active contributor to the circular economy scientific discourse (i.e. publish peer reviewed journal papers)
Be an active contributor to the diffusion of scientific knowledge to practitioners, ideally managers and new business creators in manufacturing industry.
Have a Ph.D. degree and to have worked with industry.
We consider it a bonus if you are an expert in any of the related project topics mentioned above, and extra much so for design and finance. We also consider it a bonus if you have worked in industry, and extra much so if in managerial positions.
