We are now looking for a CI Engineer to join the Platform Development team at one of our largest clients. In this position you will have a meaningful role in our EP5G DevOps team which has the full responsibility for developing and managing applied CI framework as well as the live Cloud Environment.
They apply lean and agile ways of working, hence continuous improvement, innovation, and knowledge sharing are valued parts of the daily work. You will continuously encounter new challenges and get the opportunity to drive activities such as management and development of applied CI framework, pipeline deployment and management, code analysis and developer support.
This is supported by close cooperation with software development and test teams both locally and on other sites, as well as service providers. We offer a stimulating work environment, vast competence development opportunities and possibilities to gain both professional as well as personal growth.
Responsibilities
Develop and manage CI framework and tooling, including definition of Continuous Integration strategies as well as tool sets and subsequent implementation
Support development teams in setting up and deploy development pipelines in Jenkins according to agreed strategy, hence enable developers to deliver SW in small quality assured batches
Implement and manage code analysis infrastructure by integrating 3PP software
Contribute and execute on test framework development which is to be applied in the Dedicated Networks organization, hence enable teams to implement component and e2e tests
Set guidelines, practices when it comes to using developed test framework
Develop and implement data visualization, hence support development organization to interpret pipeline outcome and SW quality through e.g. regression test feedback to developers
Drive troubleshooting, root cause analysis, provide high quality support and advice to developers within CI domain, hence enable an effective development environment and world class customer support
Drive continuous improvements and innovation of services and development processes
Qualifications
A successful candidate is driven, has very good networking, collaboration, and interpersonal skills in English, both in written and oral form, a talent for innovation, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, covering:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science or similar
Interest and experience of working with:
CI/CD development and implementation
Jenkins/GitLab CI to automate and trigger pipeline flows
Test automation and hands-on experience with Python or Golang to automate tasks
Test framework development and management
Database management (such as SQL)
Data visualization tools
Public Cloud
Golang/Java applications hence perform pipeline troubleshooting
Linux, scripting and IP Networking
Eager to learn, curious, solution oriented as well as true standout colleague
Result oriented, having an innovative mentality and valuing high quality results
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience within the field of CI and/or SW development is highly preferred
