Publiceringsdatum2016-02-05Dina arbetsuppgifterThe successful candidate will be responsible for the management of a team of underwriters in the respective regional offices construction and related industries. This involves: - Interaction with clients and their nominated intermediaries such as meeting with the clients' top and senior management; - Written communications; - Financial and technical underwriting support; - Underwriting new International business; - Performance management of the entire portfolio; - Claims Mitigation processes; - Compiling detailed reports for the respective credit committees; - Participate in high-level discussions with reinsurers; - Formulating underwriting norms and processes; Much of the work is done in collaboration with colleagues. Whilst there is a fair amount of administration and documentation, the position also offers a lot of non-repetitive work and external client visits.
KvalifikationerDegrees from a recognised institution in either of; - Engineering - Finance - Construction Related At least 10 years' work experience, preferably at a construction company (contractor) or banking institution, and a keen interest in finances, financial analysis, financial management etc. As the position is specialised, NG will offer extensive on-the-job training to ensure that the successful candidate is adequately empowered for the position. Work in the Surety/Bonding/Guarantee related fields would be an advantage.
