As CTO you will be leading the pursuit of using data and technology as an enabler for further business development. You can expect a position close to the business where you will be leading the imitative to elevate our e-commerce solution. You will act proactively to predict our needs and evaluate existing solutions as well as securing a successful delivery going forward!

YOUR CHALLENGE
Your mission is mainly to drive our IT strategy and technical vision forward. Our ambition for growth, profitability and a better customer and employee experience demands a secure, simple and scalable IT environment. In 2021, we gathered the overall technical platform, the relationship with technical partners and our internal IT in one team. An exciting assignment waits for you as CTO to manage, further develop and refine our solutions. It will also include:
* Lead the operation and development of the existing technical platform, including integrations and responsibility for architecture, infrastructure and IT security.
* Be the hub internally where you, with communication, sensitivity and clarity, ensure that needs are met in order to achieve maximum results.
* Continuously evaluate and implement new technical solutions.
* Responsibility for technical partners, including requirements, negotiation and follow-up.
* Lead the internal team and ensure that we have the right resources internally and / or externally to deliver given the preferred operational model.
* Ensure efficient and qualitative IT processes and working methods as well as standards and policies.
* Responsibility for forecasting, budgeting, results and personnel
THE TEAM AND WORK PLACE
Royal Design is located in Nybro and Stockholm. You find our warehouse, customer service, parts of accounting and IT in Nybro. In Stockholm, you find our flagship store, purchasing, marketing, e-commerce and parts of accounting and IT. As CTO, you report to CFO and can be located in either Nybro or Stockholm with travel in between.
ABOUT YOU
In order to succeed in the position as CTO you are used to have the overall responsibility for a technical platform in an agile environment. In addition, we see that you have experience of working in a combined operative model with both internal and external teams.
You have a natural ability to move initiatives forward in a structured manner in your profession. Moreover, you 're communicative and knowledgeable in translating the business needs into technical solutions. Furthermore, you 're comfortable with discussing comprehensive architecture as well as going into technical details to truly understand challenges and opportunities.
You have a lot of ambition and you 're always motivated to reach goals and results. With a humble attitude and curiosity you challenge the status quo while seeking simplicity.
For this position you will need a relevant degree or equivalent competency as well as being able to communicate in English.
