As iZettle's CTO, you will build and support high performance, self organizing and cross functional development teams. This means creating an environment where our teams can continue to perform in a self organized way, with the necessary skills and mandate.
You will be key in establishing and promoting excellent engineering practices to enable high quality, a sustainable pace and low lifetime cost for the company. It will also be crucial to ensure that the technical platform has the capability to support the business features needed to be built on it. This is strategic work that ensures that iZettle adopt appropriate technology and shapes the system internals in such a way that the company can reach its strategic and tactical goals.
Other key responsibilities include personal development of our tech employees?, allocating time for self-improvement in the teams and a close involvement in recruitment processes. You will also be responsible for planning, executing and following up on budget outcome.

Requirements
Prior leadership experience within a fast growing tech company and knowledge in how to build a scalable infrastructure.
You have a background within software development and therefore a solid understanding for this area.
Proven track record of motivating and leading parallel, agile development teams covering both front- and back-end systems.
Experience from working in a global organisation.

Each chapter reports to a lead and the leads report to you.
