US Pharmacia Sp. z o.o., part of USP Group, has been operating in Wrocaw since 1997. The facility specializes in the production of over-the-counter (OTC) medicines and pharmaceutical packaging. Well-known brands produced here include Apap, Ibuprom and Gripex. The site employs around 400 people and covers the full production cycle - from technology development and manufacturing to quality control and final packaging.
About the role:
As Chief Technologist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards for bulk and finished products, while optimizing existing production technologies within the Dry Forms Department. You will also lead and participate in projects related to the development and implementation of new technologies and products. This role requires relocation to Poland (Wrocaw).
Key responsibilities:
Ensure GMP compliance and product quality from bulk production to primary packaging.
Participate in validation processes and lead the implementation of new technologies and products.
Develop and update production documentation and training programs for department staff.
Oversee the management of controlled substances in compliance with legal requirements.
Act as internal and external auditor and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Serve as user and/or administrator of SAP, QMS, and deviation/change control systems.
Act as deputy to the Head of Department when required.
Qualifications:
Required:
University degree in pharmacy, chemistry, or biology.
At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical production, including 3 years in implementation or development projects.
Strong knowledge of GMP principles, pharmaceutical technologies, and equipment.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Preferred:
Proven track record in product transfers, technologies, or new implementations.
Knowledge of registration processes and analytical techniques.
Awareness of industry trends and pharmaceutical technology development.
