In this role you will be a member of the Bank Management Team and report to the Chief Executive Officer. </h3>
The key responsibilities for this position are
• Participate and advise in the business strategy process and the setting of appropriate risk appetite target levels
• Pro-actively work for a strengthening of the risk culture throughout the Bank
• Provide appropriate frameworks and methodologies along with trainings for an effective and compliant management of enterprise wide risk in the Bank
• Critically review and challenge decisions affecting the Bank's risk exposure
• Ensure timely and effective communication of risk levels, trends and limit breaches to internal stakeholders and the Board
• Strong support and challenge in the ICAAP and ILAAP
Are you the one for Ikano?
The optimal candidate will have at least 10 years' experience from the financial industry with focus on Credit Risk and Operational Risk of which at least 3 years' experience as Chief Risk Officer or Head of Risk Management or Control. Excellent communication skills on all levels in the organization as well as excellent leadership skills and an entrepreneurial nerve are strong requirements. The optimal candidate holds a university degree in business/economics/ engineering and is fluent in English.
