We are now recruiting an experienced and results-oriented Chief Project Manager to take an active part in the development of Getinge Infection Control's Project Office team and to contribute to an excellent execution of our New Product Development projects! This position represents a great opportunity for a motivated and team-oriented individual with a technical interest to continue developing its project- and change management skills in an international and dynamic environment!

The position
In this position you will be overall responsible for execution of New Product Development (NPD) projects within Getinge Infection Control (GEIC). Together with colleagues and Manager, you will develop an efficient Global Project Office within GEIC with a cross-function mindset. You will lead and manage a global cross-function team and will be accountable for the projects KPI:s and deliveries.
Among your main responsibilities and tasks will be:

• Lead a cross-functional team that consists of all functions within GEIC
• Be responsible for the project KPI:s, planning and executing the GEIC NPD projects in the most efficient way.
• On a daily & weekly basis, lead and follow-up activities according to the Product Development process of the NPD projects together with the cross-function team.
• On a weekly and monthly basis present and/or release a transparent condense KPI status report for each NPD projects responsible to GEIC.
• Ensure that correct actions and escalations take place in time when required.
• Change management; i.e questioning why to change, request alternatives with cross-function approval to enable time & cost focus, avoiding late changes and minimize the risk in NPD projects
• Contribute in the development of the ongoing process improvement activities e.g.; digital visualization of NPD projects, Scrum or Pulse GEIC concepts, lead-time reductions, update of the existing Product Development process e.t.c.
The location is Växjö, Sweden, and you will report directly to the head of Project Office and to the Steering Committee of NPD projects.

Domestic and international travel is estimated to approximately 40 days over night per year.

The ideal candidate
As ideal for the position you have the following key characteristics:
• University Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum ten years of experience in product development, preferably from medical device or similar industry.
• Minimum five years of experience from international leadership.
• Previous proven skills in project management or equivalent.
• Technical project management experience and a technical interest is a strong advantage
• Previous proven skills in cross-function leadership.
• Capability to lead one or several NPD projects in parallel in a complex and dynamic matrix organization.
• Certified according to e.g. PMP - Project Management Professional is a merit.
• Change management competence.
• Full proficiency in English and Swedish, written and spoken.
• Proficiency in additional languages e.g. French is beneficial.

In order to successfully lead and organize people in an ongoing global reorganization we see that you have strong leadership skills with a push and pull approach. Having excellent communication skills and an ability to motivate and encourage people to perform above their former limits is crucial. Further, you have a holistic view and a "never give up" mindset together with a strong drive to take our New Product Development projects and processes to the next level!
