Chief Project Manager at Special Vehicles, Gothenburg
As Chief Project Manager at SVD you lead and direct activities in a cross-functional project team to develop and industrialize Volvo Trucks products. Your work will serve as an important input to the decision making process and to secure successful product launches.

Responsibilities
• Lead and deliver Special Vehicles projects from early phase in to industrialization
• Stay in close connection to the commercial Volvo Trucks organization to secure customer demands
• Work in close cooperation with cross-functional stakeholders within engineering, manufacturing and purchasing as well as with external partners
• Manage project performance and report progress in decision and governance foras
• Contribute in continuous improvement activities, develop and share acquired competence
• Participate in business development and innovation together with customers

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills
For success in this role we expect you to have Master degree in Engineering (or equivalent). You have an extensive understanding of the complete truck including engineering, purchasing and manufacturing and as project manager you have successfully delivered product projects in the truck industry for a minimum of 10 years. You have a desire to learn more about the automotive game-changers electromobility, automation and connectivity.
You thrive to take the lead with courage and integrity and feel comfortable working autonomously. You influencing people by inspire and motivate them through your character and charisma and have the ability to build trust and manage networking. You are skilled in development processes and have an interest to apply agile methods and develop efficient ways of working. Among the obvious skills within project management you are also exceptional in clear communication and have experienced reporting at executive level.
