As Chief Project Mgr you will be responsible for the delivery of the projects according to QDCF, reporting project status and achievements in the decided governance structure.
You represent the project in the steering committee and are responsible for project daily operations. You will be required to give regular concise updates to the related Steering Committee(s) and Decision Bodies as needed. You will ensure the proper program management protocol is followed informing related stakeholders in time on any significant risks and scope changes.
Job Content:
The primary task of the Chief Project Manager is to lead the project organization by planning, managing and delivering the business goals for the entire project with support of parallel projects.
Maintain a consolidated view of all active projects in terms of QDCF (Quality, Delivery, Cost and Feature), as well as KPIs tracking full program business case realization.
Secure implementation of best practices across BA/Bus and develop new ones when needed while driving process and application commonality globally
Secure that project requirements support the group agenda within their specific area ? both for business implementation and early phase projects (AE)
Coordinate the sub-projects to ensure the overall project plan/roadmap is achieved as committed.
Ensure that required resources are available, committed, manage any conflicts within the project and negotiate solutions as needed
Working with the project teams ensure that any needed global processes, architecture and integration guidelines are created so that the projects deliver a consistent set of solutions.
Coordinate change management programs and ensure excellent project communication to all stakeholders affected.
Using the Volvo IS Global Development Process (IS GDP) prepares gate decision documentation as needed for the required decision bodies.

Required knowledge & experience:
Recommended BSc or Master?s Degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience
5+ years? experience in Project Management and Product Development CAD/CAE/PDM systems is desired
5+ years? experience in IS/IT systems development is desired
Experience in change management processes and project risk management
Requirements:
