What you will do
As a Chief project manager at Volvo Penta you are responsible for the project total deliveries end-to-end making sure that both technical as well as commercial targets are met. In the projects you have the benefit to work with a skilled cross functional team with many great colleagues across the company. You will lead the team in planning and execution of the projects. There will be challenges along the way and your role will be to mobilize the team and together adapt to new prerequisites. You will report to the progress to steering committee and other stakeholders.
Who are you?
We see that you have the capability of managing complex projects with a clear customer focus. Since you have experience as a leader you have developed a high ability to provide direction and motivate your team members. Electromobility and connectivity will continue to grow in our portfolio over the coming years, so previous experience within these areas is of extra interest. It is also important that you can reach out to different stakeholders as this will be part of the daily work.
Required knowledge and experiences
Many years of experience from Project management roles
Good communication and presentations skills
BSc degree or higher in engineering or equivalent
It's also beneficial if you have
Project management experience from industrialization projects within the Volvo Group and knowledge about Volvo's development process
