This is how you could make an impact
As a Chief project manager at Volvo Penta you are responsible for the project total deliveries end-to-end making sure that both technical as well as commercial targets are met. In the projects you have the benefit to work with a skilled cross functional team with many great colleagues across the company. You will lead the team in planning and execution of the projects. There will be ups and downs along the way and here you will play a key role to mobilize the team and together adapt to new prerequisites. You will report to the project steering committee and other stakeholders.
Projects within the areas of electromobility, connectivity and autonomous solutions are already a substantial part of our portfolio. In the transformation towards new businesses and technologies you will also play an important role in developing and implementing new ways of working.
Who are you?
We see that you have the capability of managing complex projects with a clear customer focus. Since you have experience as a leader for some years you have developed a high ability to provide direction and guidance and motivate your team members. As our electromobility offering will continue to grow over the coming years, experience within this area is of extra interest. It is also important that you have the ability to reach out to different stakeholders as this will be part of the daily work.
Required knowledge and experiences
Many years of experience from Project management roles
Good communication and presentations skills
BSc degree or higher in engineering or equivalent
It's also beneficial if you have
Project management experience from industrialization projects within the Volvo Group and knowledge about Volvo's development process

Our home base is the Volvo Penta headquarter in the heart of Campus Lundby in Gothenburg, Sweden.
