Benify provides their customers with a highly tailored web solution that streamlines communication and interaction with their employees. Their portal provides a smarter way for over half a million employees to visualize their “total compensation†– e g salary and benefits. Benify currently employs around 250 employees in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Munich, Helsinki, Oslo & London and will soon grow in several other countries. A majority of Sweden’s largest companies are customers of Benify's, such as IKEA, Ericsson, Volvo, Nordea and AstraZeneca.
The role as CPO is one of the most important positions at Benify. The CPO will be responsible for the business framework regarding the product development and will hold a key position concerning the company’s strategic management. Your mission is to lead the product development in the right direction in order to execute the company’s strategy but also to create new future opportunities. You will report directly to the CEO and a seat in the executive management team can be the next step for the right person.
You will construct the role as CPO from scratch. The product ownership is today decentralized in different departments, primarily between sales, project management and IT, with different degrees of involvement from management level. Your task will be to create a plan for how the ownership shall be organized and controlled and then put this plan into action. Your assignments includes; creating a product development plan for each product and country, coordinate employee’s suggestions on how to develop the products and communicate internally and externally how and why the products develop in the direction they do, analyze current customer needs and future market development. You will also be leading the daily work of product development and developing a marketing plan for new product area together with sales director and marketing manager.
We are looking for you who have experience from a similar position at a dynamic and fast growing company and have technical competence within the IT area and web-based systems. You are also highly skilled in working with market analysis. Benify is striving for long-term growth with more than 30 % per year and all product development shall be made with this goal in mind.
We also believe that you have a university degree and have worked with IT and lead product development on a tactical, operative and strategic level for a number of years. You are also fluent in English, both written and oral. Fluency in Swedish is an advantage but not a requirement. As a person you are outgoing, analytical and pragmatic. You will be positioned in Stockholm but there will be frequent trips to both Gothenburg and Benify's foreign offices.
