Overall description
As Chief Product Officer for Europe, you are responsible for building, maintaining and delivering against a roadmap of new product developments, product enhancements and services for Trustly's customers and internal stakeholders. You will build the roadmap in close collaboration with Trustly's Business Areas who represent the needs and opportunities within our key verticals. You will balance the short-term commercial imperatives to drive the business, with the long-term need to build competitive differentiation in the verticals in which Trustly competes.
Success in this role demands an ability to think strategically as well as execute operationally. You will be adept at the task of balancing competing priorities to optimize enterprise value. You will bring a progressive mindset to the practice of product management at Trustly and reinforce a commercial orientation to product management, encouraging your team of Product Managers to adopt a general manager mindset to the management and growth of their products.
As CPO for Europe you will be responsible for:
Managing Product and related functions, an organisation of 50+ that consists of Product, Design, Product Marketing and Analytics functions.
Define and communicate the product vision in alignment with the rest of the management team. Transform vision into actionable, measurable product plans based on data and insights.
Work with sales and marketing on go-to-market strategy, including product packaging, pricing, marketing, and partnerships.
Develop more modularity into the product to allow for rapid customisation of the product for new markets each with their own regulatory and employee expectation norms allowing for increased flexibility.
Drive product development forward by ensuring crystal-clear understanding of the various product requirements, expectations and timelines for all stakeholders.
Build and lead a product management team. Establish robust product development processes within this team as well as set clear goals and metrics that are aligned with commercial objectives.
As a member of the management team, contribute to overall business strategy. Aid in the identification of new opportunities.

Who you are:
Proven experience as a product leader in a successful fast-moving global Enterprise software business where the company has grown rapidly and successfully as a result of your contribution.
Expertise of cloud technology, as well as a deep understanding of modern software development processes (SDLC) and strategies.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience as a member of a senior Executive Management team as well as interacting with C-level customers.
Ability to translate the progress of the team into the right level of communication to the company C-suite, enabling them to make trade-offs or choices.
