The Nordics region is a strong growing business for Market commercial activity and the business is currently carried by sales team from London. Setting up a Branch will allow SG to carry transactions from Sweden. Salespersons employed in Stockholm will be able to perform the sales activity of inter alia the below market products to different kinds of clients (e.g. financial institutions, distributors, stockbrokers) localized in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark. cross asset business such as swap asset transactions and its distribution; .equity derivatives such as futures, options, swaps; . fixed income currency products such as CDS & cash bonds; . PRM products such as DPS, TRS, Stock Loan, Repo, Collateral Upgrade/Downgrade

Job description:
• to ensure that all support functions operate in a collaborative and cooperative manner to support the business goals
• to ensure that the quality, security and resilience of services delivered to local businesses is appropriate
• to monitor local operational risks via the appropriate control functions
• to raise alerts at the appropriate level concerning actual or potential issues
• to manage crisis events affecting the platform
• to be prepared to act as local sponsor for transversal projects in the region where appropriate or necessary
• to ensure that transversal projects receive the appropriate level of attention and resources amongst business lines and resource functions
• to ensure that the governance of such projects is established with the appropriate level of reporting to regional or global sponsors
Qualifications:
• Masters Degree (preferably overseas) in Business/Finance
• Strong Audit and Finance background
• Significant experience in a similar role within the Corporate and Investment Banking Sector
• Considerable experience in the global tools of a multinational Bank
• Fluency in English and French
• Ability to manage project groups from different locations
• Facilitation of discussion and resolution of conflict
• Ability to work under strict deadlines
