The mission for the role
Volvo Trucks is one of the largest heavy-duty truck brands in the world. We have production around the globe and sales in over 140 countries. As CIO & Head of Digital Development, you take responsibility for driving Volvo Trucks ' digital development. It is obvious that an efficient and profitable business needs to be supported by efficient, modern and flexible systems. You lead the efforts to integrate existing systems as well as new and innovative solutions into an efficient roadmap for Volvo Trucks.

Therefore, your primary mission is to lead, inspire and engage the people around you; to be a source of inspiration and a role model for your colleagues so that we together can reach the targets you are responsible for setting. Much of the work requires cross functional collaboration both within Volvo Trucks as well as other Volvo Group entities, especially Volvo IT and with external partners as well.
Key responsibilities
Lead development of the Digital platform together with Volvo Group IT and other functions
Work with other functions, sales areas and markets to discover opportunities & grow 'digital maturity' across the organization
Own and develop data management and integration support to the business
Develop, execute and follow up on Volvo Trucks ' digital development plan, strategic roadmap and project initiatives
Consolidate all demands and requests from the business to prioritize and execute
In charge of the execution and prioritization of IT projects and project portfolio
Own and develop global common solutions where Volvo Trucks is in the lead
In charge of Volvo Trucks ' solution portfolio and set Service Level Agreement requirements for Global common solutions
Member of Volvo Trucks Executive Management Team and in that role take a holistic responsibility for the total business of Volvo Trucks. You report to Claes Nilsson, EVP Volvo Group and President Volvo Trucks

We believe you also have
An academic degree
Extensive experience of senior IT leadership, digital transformation and change leadership in an international environment
Experience from Industrial B2B companies and deep knowledge of infrastructure and systems
A customer centric view and ability to design systems and solutions to fulfil customer needs
A track record of delivering results, most likely through transformational efforts
Background of working in an agile way and being pragmatic; experience of breaking down complicated and complex issues and making it understandable for a broader audience
