hela Sverige Work in a consultative fashion with other department heads, such as marketing, HR, sales, finance, production and operations as an advisor of technologies that may improve their efficiency and effectiveness.
With a creative mindset develop systems that can improve our business intelligence and development as well as knowledge data collection and usage, ensuring we remain a cutting edge learning institute.
Direct, approve and implement the design of all IT infrastructure, software and communications systems, including email and internal communications platforms and evaluate their effectiveness in meeting business unit needs.
Ensure a complete security plan including; disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place which protects the availability, integrity and privacy of the IT infrastructure and data.
Ensure compliance with the changing laws and applicable regulations regulating security, privacy and data protection and establish governance of all IT activities, including review and approval of all IT policies, controls and incident response planning.
Set requirements and be responsible for outsourced IT service providers and the respective Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Capture and internally disseminate data about our current students, alumni, collaborators and partners behaviors, needs and desires.
Design systems and organizations that are scalable, integrated and maintainable.
Create platform support for knowledge sharing globally between coworkers and network collaborators
Prepare, control and manage IT budget across the company.
Hyper Island is looking for an experienced CIO (Chief Information Officer) to ensure that all systems necessary to support its operations and objectives are in place.
You have a solid IT background and constantly keep up-to-date with advancements of the field, the impact they will have and the value they can deliver to coworkers, collaborators, clients and society at large.
You will shape the operations of Hyper Island by working closely with the global leadership, finance teams, marketing and managing directors to propose
budgets for programs and projects, purchases and upgrades and preside over IT-related projects.

You have:
Higher education in IT/ technology or equivalent experience
Proof of habits to keep up with trends and cutting edge knowledge
Experience of large scale projects and / or processes
Confidence to push through strategies in a complex organisation
Experience from handling a budget and ROI-responsibility
Ability to guide C-suite level decision making and business development
Fluent in English
