Shenzhen Senior Technology Material Co. Ltd is a leading manufacturer of high-performance lithium-ion battery separator film and a strategic supplier to world's top lithium-ion battery giants. Headquartered in the Chinese tech hub Shenzhen, the company has formed a manufacturing network of 4 production bases, strategically located in Shenzhen, Changzhou, and Hefei, China. The newly up running plant of wet-process base film and Gigafactory of coating in Changzhou are among those most-sophisticated and largest in the industry. The advanced R&D centre in Shenzhen along with research units in the US and Germany provide us strong capabilities of staying in the front of separator material and process development as well as close collaboration with lithium-ion battery cell manufacturers for specific solution. The company is listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Market and plans for further expansion both in China and internationally, to cope with the tremendous demand of EV battery in the years to come.
In response to the fast electrification of mobility, which is taking place around in Europe, Senior Material has established its European subsidiary, Senior Material (Europe) AB, in Eskilstuna. A large-scale manufacturing plant, which will be equipped with high-automated production lines of both wet-process base film and coating, has left the drawing table and will be realized in coming years. To this exciting project, we are inviting you to join our stellar team in Eskilstuna to build the first-ever factory of lithium-ion battery separator in Sweden. Role and Responsibilities:
§ As Chief Executive Officer, you will take the overall responsibility to implement the company's business plan of establishing European manufacturing base in Eskilstuna as well as developing the European market, which is the crucial part in our global strategy.
§ Executing the project plan of plant construction, production start and ramp up as well as delivery to the customer. Providing leadership to the global project organisation.
§ To build and develop the Swedish organisation with value, right competence and entrepreneurial spirit.
§ Together with the local management team, acting as the company's ambassador to create and maintain good relationship with all stakeholders as well as care the company's reputation in the local community.
§ P&L responsibility, strategic business planning and implementation.
§ Monitoring and evaluation the European EV lithium-ion battery market, industrial policy as well as technological development, broaden our customer base in Europe.
Your background and Character:
To be successful in this role, we want
§ You have an extensive background within general management, including previous accountability for profit and loss statements for a large-sized manufacturing operation.
§ You are experienced in leading a sizeable investment project of new plant construction, preferably within lithium-ion battery separator industry.
§ You have deep knowledge in EV battery market, lithium-ion battery technology and industrial policy at global basis.
§ You have cultural awareness and are well-skilled in dealing with multicultural working environment.
§ Your previous experience of leading a sizeable Chinese manufacturing company and Chinese language skill is highly desired.
§ You are an inspiring mentor with value-based leadership, trust in the power of teamwork, promote an entrepreneurial culture where people engage to increase performance.
§ Collaboration, stakeholder management and true business acumen are some key words for your past success.
