We work alongside our customers to build a new generation of devices and systems - we modernize and build new products, machines and digital solutions in both Sweden and all around the world. Our customers are ranging from promising start-ups that need a team to develop their very first product or prototype to global companies in medtech, industry, energy, moving machines and telecom sectors. Their base is very diverse, thus, the operating models and methods in our projects vary as well. The duration of our projects is often calculated in months - although delivery and product development projects can also be longer.
In your role, you are responsiblefor embedded hardware architecture and electronics design in different fields of technologies and industry sectors such as medical/life science, automotive (electrification), IoT and green tech. This role could also include a part time internal position in our global pre-sales organization to support with your expertise in quotation work and customer meetings if you see that as an interesting opportunity.

The Uppsala office has a cross functional team with engineers within mechanics, electronics, embedded SW, AI/ML/Computer vision, battery technology and technical information. Many of our projects are performed inhouse with both local and global customers and the main industries are life science, material technology, green tech and electrification.

How does it sound this far?If you are interested in this opportunity, let's look at what skills you will need to succeed in this role.
To succeed in this role, you have a solid experience in embedded electronics design and architecture. Probably also used to perform practical hands-on work in a lab setting with electronic devices and measurement equipment. Additionally you embody good analytical skills and preferably hold an M.Sc. degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Embedded Systems or a similar applicable area. You are also fluent in written and spoken English. As a senior co-worker you also find it inspiring to guide less experienced colleagues to grow!

We also appreciate knowledge/experience in one or more of the following topics:
Embedded SW development (low-level C, C++, Yocto Linux)
RF, wireless protocols (e.g. BLE, WiFi, 4/5G, etc.)
DFM / DFT
Smart sensor technologies
Battery powered and low-power electronics
EV electronics and charger design
Power supply design
In addition to sufficient experience, you will ensure your success with your proactive, self-guided and systematic approach towards your work. You know how to find solutions and overcome challenges.
