Our first aircraft is the ES-19, a nineteen-passenger airliner with an operating range of 400 km. The ES-19 is a fully electric aircraft, and our goal is to have the aircraft certified for commercial operation by 2026.
Your place of work will be at our main office and hangar facility. This is located at Säve Airport in Gothenburg, Sweden. Relocation assistance can be provided. We seek experienced and skilled professionals to join our small, fast moving team developing a new electric aircraft in Sweden. We're in a very expansive phase and now is the time to join our team.

Role Overview
Heart Aerospace is growing and are now looking for an experienced Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to join our team and ensure the development of our Commercial Office. To succeed in the role, we see that you have extensive experience within the aerospace industry, with the right mix of business and management expertise to develop and lead our team to be efficient, productive, and effective. The CCO reports to our CEO and will be a member of our Senior Leadership Team.
Your key responsibilities would include:

Establish, develop, and directly oversee the functional teams of Customer relationships, Marketing & Sales, Export Control and Contracts & Agreements.

Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team in setting up and driving Heart's organizational vision, commercial strategy, and hiring needs.

Developing commercial and business development strategies and processes that will enable Heart to achieve both the short-term results and long-term strategy.

Ensure that Heart meets all applicable government requirements in the commercial area.

Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, partners, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related field.

15+ years experience in an aerospace industry leadership position, leading a Commercial Office/Marketing and Sales site, or similar.

Proven experience in sales and client relationship management within the aerospace industry.

Demonstrated experience of growing sales, margin and market share in the aerospace industry.

Excellent strategic and business planning skills.

Exceptional leadership and communication skills.

Excellent verbal & written communication skills in English.

Eagerness to work with others.

Passion for aircrafts and Heart's mission.
The ideal candidate would have

Master's degree in business or related field.

International business experience.

Experience in a start-up company.
