The Opportunity:
SunRoof is one of the fastest-growing hardware-enabled software start-ups within the clean energy space, looking for a Financial Manager in Sweden. Reporting into the Global Financial Controller, you will be a key member of the financial management team and will play an important role in taking the business to its next level of growth, whilst managing and growing the finance function.
In this role you will:
You will be responsible for both the operational and strategic aspects of the company finances and you will also be responsible for:
Keeping the company's full accounting in accordance with applicable legal requirements
Project costs management
Issue and posting of sales invoices
Verification and registration of financial and accounting documents: costs, revenues, bank statements
Month and year closing processes implementation and performing
Preparation of periodic and annual declarations and reports
Reconciliation of balances with contractors, ongoing analysis and verification of entries on accounting accounts
Support in making tax decisions
Optimization and improvement of the organization of accounting processes
Payroll accounting management
ERP implementation for accountancy
Country Head financial support
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of participating in building up a hypergrowth company from the early stage. On top of the fundamental financial qualifications, you will have a skill set within the cooperation with international teams, maintaining strong company culture. You have been part of scaling a hypergrowth company while optimizing the operations at the same time. You will also have experience in hardware and manufacturing
Here is what you bring:
At least 5 years of Chief Accountant experience at the international function with relevant industry experience in finance
Master degree in Finance, CPA or MBA preferred but not required
Fluency in Swedish and English. Other languages German, Spanish, Italian, or Polish would be an asset
Strong finance-based analytical skills, well-structured and organized approach
