Chief Accountant to our head office in Stockholm
The local company, in Sweden, is looking to recruit an ambitious and driven Chief Accountant to assist the CFO in all aspects of the financial role.
The successful applicant should have a qualification in Financial Accounting, at least 3-5 years experience in a middle-management role, and should have good knowledge of local tax, VAT and statutory law. The applicant should also be fluent in both Swedish and English, to support both the local reporting requirements and the reporting to regional and global headquarters, based in Paris, France. Knowledge of Hyperion Essbase and/or Hyperion Financial Management would be beneficial.
The day to day duties include active involvement in cash flow and working capital management and forecasting; external audit relations and preparation of the statutory accounts, all statutory issues and reporting requirements; management of head office requests and responses; Balance Sheet control, budgeting process and budget review processes. The applicant will be required to manage a team of 5-7 people, and be able to manage high volume transaction processing. The role will require working with suppliers and internal customers to improve processes, particularly with regard to automation.
