We, Poolia Life Science, is now looking for a consultant with a chemical background. The assignment is placed in Stockholm and is initially for a short term 1-4 months. Please apply today, the assignment is expected to start asap, and we interview continuously.
Publiceringsdatum2015-02-12Dina arbetsuppgifterThe Global Product Compliance Department at this global fashion company is responsible for setting requirements for the consumer products according to legislation. This includes product safety, labelling, chemical and physical test methods.
We are now looking for a consultant within chemistry who will secure that our customer can import and sell aerosol packages (containing cosmetics e.g. hair spray or aerosols package containing chemical product e.g. room scent) in countries at all continents.
Information required is to assure that our customer can import the product and sell to the customer in countries all over the world (excluding information about logistics, transport, distribution centers (storage in warehouse), and store requirements (including storage)).
The assignment is to research legal product requirements (including product safety) within below mentioned areas:
• Chemical requirements
• Labelling requirements
• Physical requirements (i.e. flammability, pressure.)
• Authority reporting requirements
• Registration requirements
• Certificate requirements
The needed information is the one regarding the aerosol PACKAGE, not the cosmetic or chemical contents of the product inside the aerosol package. Additional labelling, testing, reporting is outside the scope of the request.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
We are looking for you, who:
• Have contacts within many different countries or regions
• Have good knowledge in English language
• Have good knowledge in national regulation on chemical legislation, specifically aerosol package
• Have a minimum of 5 years of working experience within regulatory area of chemical products (specifically aerosol package); at a company, or a government authority, or a regulatory consultant
• Have a background as chemist working with chemical regulatory, or a legal counsel with chemical regulatory experience.
