We are now giving you the opportunity to grow and develop in the role as Chemist in the Developing Segments at AkzoNobel Surface Chemistry. In this role, you will join a team with dedicated, highly skilled people and primarily work with the Paints, Coatings and Inks (PC&I) segment. The position is in Stenungsund and we are recruiting a person for 1 year.

Main tasks:
• Design, execute and evaluate experiments
• Write final reports and present technical work results to customers and/or internal audiences
• Support the Sales and Marketing functions
• Adopt existing directives, legislations and regulations within HSE

Job requirements / Candidate profile

• Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• Proven skills and desire to work in a lab environment
• Enjoy practical laboratory work and solve technical challenges
• Be able to work independently, self-driven and to get things done
• Fluent in English

Desirable qualifications:
• Knowledge within Paint, Coatings & Ink
• Knowledge in formulations
• Experience and fundamental knowledge in surface chemistry
