On behalf of our client we are now looking for an analytical chemist to work with screening & profiling within Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) in vitro. This is an assignment as a consultant starting as soon as possible for 6 months in Södertälje with very good prospects of prolongation.
Your main responsibilities will be to to provide information regarding chemical stability, solubility and lipophilicity properties of drug candidates by performing the required tests and analysis with LC-MS.
Requirements:
B.Sc in analytical chemistry or equivalent experience
Experience of LC-MS and tests used to investigate physical properties of compounds
Preclinical in vitro DMPK experience or of physical-chemical characterization of compounds within drug discovery
Ability to express yourself in English both orally and in written form
IT Software skills (Microsoft Office)
Additional qualifying skills:
Experience of automation techniques
Experience within ADME (absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion)
Experience/interest of virtual basic or other programming
Experience from industrial drug discovery
Skills and qualities:

Good communication skills
Goal oriented personality and delivery focused
