Nicoccino is now recruiting a role as chemist and laboratory engineer. This is an exciting role within an upcoming company and the position proposes great opportunities for the right candidate. As a part of the team you will be involved in laboratory work, drive the development of new products and manage technical aspects within production.
Nicoccino is a listed (First North) young Swedish start up established in 2013. Nicoccino introduced their unique product in the UK (as their launch market) in July with plans to expand to Europe and beyond. Publiceringsdatum2014-08-19Dina arbetsuppgifterThis role is to manage the daily operations of Nicoccino in-house laboratory, to manage technical aspects with the company's pharmaceutical production partners and ensure a stable production as well to drive internal development projects.
The position is full time, situated in Stockholm. However since production partners are located in the US and Europe it is required to travel and oversee production and developments for briefer and longer stays. This means being flexible for "next day" travels as well to stay for longer time periods.
Key Goals
• Oversee, plan and support technical aspects of the production at our suppliers
• Analytic knowledge to establish and validate laboratory procedures, reports and documentation
• Day-to-day management of laboratory operations
• Plan, execute and report development projects (e.g. develop new strengths, flavors and shapes)
• Compile and present "pharma language" into "commercial language
Utbildning/erfarenhet
• Universal degree or long time experience (+5 years) in pharmacy, biochemistry or relevant area.
• Work experience with formulation work is requested
• Experience from practical laboratory work, knowledge and understanding in GLP (knowledge of GMP is meritorious)
• Possesses knowledge, passion and experience for daily experimental work including ability for planning, executing, analyzing, presenting and reporting results.
• Maintain excellent writing and language skills (Fluent in English, written and spoken)
• Good ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues.
• Display ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written format.
• Good knowledge in excel and ppt.

The right person is structured and detail oriented with good organization skills. Furthermore it is important with strong creative and innovation skills and to have the ability to effectively plan, prioritize and execute tasks.
To thrive in the role you also need to have excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to get along with diverse personalities. It is of great importance that you are prepared to travel as this is an essential part of the job description.
