EasyMining is looking for a driven and innovative chemist, chemical engineer or chemical process engineer in Uppsala who wants to participate in the transition to a circular economy and help save the world's resources.
EasyMining is in the process of commercializing technologies based on its patented innovations and processes that recover clean commercial products using waste as raw material. Our technologies include phosphorus recovery from ashes of combusted sludge, a process that can reduce the energy requirement for treating nitrogen containing wastewater by recovering the nitrogen in form of commercial products, as well as a process for extraction of salts from fly ash from household waste incineration.
We are now looking for a new team member to help us design, optimize, analyze and operate pilots for our current and future technologies.

Job brief
The successful candidate will take part in our process development and upscaling. The position is in our research and development team in Uppsala, and includes working with laboratory optimization, operation of pilot tests and supporting the engineering work in the commercialization of the processes. Both more experienced as well as more recently graduated candidates are welcome to apply. Depending on your previous experience the role will be adapted.
Responsibilities
• Plan and execute experimental work (laboratory) for process optimization
• Assess processes, take measurements and interpret data
• Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes
• Operate pilot trails
• Provide documentation of experimental work

Education & Experience Requirements
A master's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering is a prerequisite
