Our Engineering department is creating a strong foundation of skills for new technologies and innovations. We have a committed passion to create and deliver iconic and desirable global products suitable for volume production. We are now looking for a Chassis Lead Engineer CAE Simulation!
Description
As a Chassis Lead Engineer for Simulation you are responsible for simulation of Full Vehicle simulation, Chassis system like suspension, brakes, steering and it's components in order to support the Chassis engineering and product development organization.
This means you will;
• Be team leader for Chassis simulation team,
• As Chassis lead simulation engineer, you will be part of cross functional simulation team within the company,
• Be NEVS Chassis representative at different symposium and have close contact with university etc',
• Process a thorough and detailed knowledge within the area of expertise and about connected systems,
• Develop chassis related system/component requirements that meets the overall vehicle requirements,
• Support supplier assessments/reviews,
• Develop, simulate and evaluate
• Identify root-causes or identified issues during verification/validation and develop countermeasures/solutions as needed.
Assure deliverables according to project plan.
You will work together with all business areas, line and projects within our Engineering department. External you will work with suppliers and engineering service providers.
We are looking for someone who has;
• Relevant engineering experience in the work area, minimum 10 years,
A thorough knowledge and understanding of Suspension system, University engineering education or equivalent experience,
• driver license B.
To be successful in the role, you need to;
Be a good team leader Have a thorough knowledge and understanding of Brake system Be creative, solution-oriented and open minded, Have good communication skills, Have excellent automotive industry knowledge, Have the ability to plan and prioritize.
