Within the Electromobility department we develop world-class electromobility solutions for Volvo group products. We are currently looking for persons within verification of our charging system and functionality.
Position Description
Within the charging verification team we are searching for skilled verification engineers with experience from functional verification as well as power electronics. As a system verification engineer you work in very close co-operation with software & hardware development teams and together with the other related functions such as aftermarket and production. We perform testing and verification both in vehicle and HIL and to secure the delivery of the complete charging functionality.
Customer requirements for high quality vehicles must be met or even exceeded with our new electric products. This must also be done much faster than in traditional automotive projects. To be able to do so we need to be industry leading in how we verify efficiently and effectively. Part from planning, preparing and performing verification activities you will also contribute to continuously develop and improve our way of working and test methods in an inspiring work environment.

Who are you?
We are searching for persons who are passionate for both electromobility and verification. Knowledge within integration testing, functional verification, power electronics or charging solutions is needed.
We also believe that you are action- and result oriented and can prioritize your time in an effective way to accomplish your goals.
Furthermore, you have great communication skills and are a team player who have the skill to proactively plan together with necessary stakeholders. You are a person who is always looking for improvements in our way of working. In an inspiring environment promoting innovation you will together with the team get the opportunity to develop both your professional as well as your individual skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Mechatronics, Physics, Electrical or equivalent
Automotive experience and preferably from Electromobility
Hands on experience of functional, power electronics and/or electromobility verification
Good knowledge of and experience from managing, planning, preparing, executing, and analyzing test/test results using a very high-level specification.
Good knowledge in measurement techniques and equipment
A merit if you have experience with charging communication protocols, Cyber security, verification in HIL/dSpaces tools, Atlassian Tool suite and open-source tools like Jenkins
B-Driver's license (minimum)
