Key responsibilities

Main focus for the role is to initiate actions to continuously optimise and drive value in both existing and new sales channels of Edrington portfolio as well as 3rd party brands in the Nordic region. This by initiating the right pricing, the right portfolio per channel and the right consumer communication in close collaboration with Country Managers, Nordic Brand Managers, Category Insights Analyst and Business Controllers.

E-commerce/online sales will be of importance for the future development in the Nordics and will therefore be a key focus for the role when exploring new sales opportunities and actions to recruit more consumers into the Edrington portfolio.

The role as Channel Optimisation Manager sits under the Business Development department and is a Nordic role based in Stockholm. Travel across the Nordic markets to support and work with the local markets is required (4-5 days per month).

Job Responsibilities:

Provide and drive recommended actions to Country Managers on how to optimise our product mix with focus on delivering value.
Initiate optimal pricing and lead the pricing process for new and existing products in each sales channel by using brand guidance, category- & consumer insights and profitability tool.
Share relevant consumer information from brand health trackers with Nordic Brand Managers to optimise consumer communication across our sales- & communication channels
Locate and drive new business case opportunities for local markets together with Country Managers by using insights, brand guidance and profitability tool.
Present analysis (ROI) of selected marketing activities to the Nordic marketing team

Experience and knowledge

Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
3-5 years' experience in channel management, business or sales, with demonstrated success.
Strong commercial and problem solving skills to identify critical issues, evaluate options and provide recommendations
Excellent knowledge in Excel
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and experience presenting to senior level executives
Ability to work effectively in a global matrix organization
Relevant work experience in strategy consulting or business development as well as general trade knowledge is preferred
