Job Description
The section Product Documentation is in total approximately 80 persons within four different groups. This section has the responsibility of all releases of models, drawings, parts and product numbers. The department is working closely with both engineering and car projects within the company.
As Change Order Coordinator, within the group Part Release Powertrain, Chassis & Electrics you are responsible for implementing changes and updates in the PDM-system KDP of their products, both during the development and in running production. You work together and in cooperation with engineers from various development units within R&D and with factories among others. You will have a predefined area of responsibility like Engine components or Soft Ware for various functions or equivalent and you will act as a representative for your area in different projects. As a CO-coordinator you are working in a team of colleagues who is working in parallel with you in similar areas of responsibility.
Main responsibilities
• Implementing changes and updates in the PDM-system KDP
• Make sure that the parts list and specifications are updated
• Support engineers within the area of Powertrain, Chassis & Electrics
• Working in the system KDP, a mainframe based system which is holding the base data connected to all parts and cars within the company.
Required qualifications
• Technical university or equivalent experience
• Experience of product documentation
• Good knowledge of product development and/or manufacturing process
• Knowledge and interest of the structure of the car
• Fluent in Swedish and English (spoken and written)
