On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Chainman (Assistant Surveyor) to work on a large scale contraction project in Stockholm. The position is fulltime and for minimum 2 years. You must be physically fit and accustomed to working outdoors.
Publiceringsdatum2013-02-07Dina arbetsuppgifterThe client is an international curtain walling specialist based in the Netherlands, and the project (i.e. the working site) is in Stockholm. For this project we are now looking for an assistant to work closely with the Site Structural Surveyor on the cladding installation works. The position will require the provision of day to day assistance in establishing dimensional control and setting out references for the external cladding panels and associated materials on various new build structures on the project.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
The candidate must have an ability to communicate in English and must be physically fit and accustomed to working outdoors. You will be part of a multi national team on a large scale construction site. Preferably you have an education and also some experience of working on construction sites. Previous experience is not essential but candidates with (some of) the following criterias will be better suited for the position:
• an ability to work with survey instruments (eg Leica Total Station)
• having a knowledge of Auto Cad software
• an ability to read Constructions drawings
