hela Sverige Do you have extensive experience within legal structures and subsidiaries? Do you want to be part of a recently set up holding company based in Stockholm? We are looking for a CFO that will be responsible for building a company structure in Stockholm and working with the portfolio companies within the group. As CFO you'll act as the cornerstone for questions regarding tax, legal queries, reporting and other tasks for the board in Sweden and Europe.
We are a swift and agile international private investment company that targets the technology sector. With subsidiaries in Europe, the CFO needs to be able to travel at least once every month to develop productive relationships with counterparties.
Key responsibilities as CFO:
Act as first contact person on all financial matters for the founders and the board
Outlining strategic (legal and tax) roadmaps for current and future investments
Consolidation and reporting of subsidiaries
Collaboration with service providers in other countries (accountants, lawyers)
Handling of international tax related questions
Budgeting, forecasting and cash flow analysis
Reporting to FI in Sweden
Conduct sector analysis and due diligence process
Skills, knowledge and expertise
The successful candidate has a university degree in Business Administration or/and Commercial Law and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the audit, PE or investment management industry. Extensive experience in international reporting and controlling is necessary for this position. You are comfortable with Swedish regulations and policies concerning finance and tax (utomståenderegeln, 3:12, fåmansbolag), and can manage working relationships with service providers across Europe (lawyers, tax experts, etc). Applicants need to be able to speak Swedish and English fluently, both written and spoken.
Personal characteristics
You have excellent communication skills and are comfortable discussing your viewpoint with other partners. You can work in both an operational/'hands-on' fashion with forecasts and reporting, but also in a strategic fashion on business planning. You are familiar with digging-deep into regulations around tax and legal queries associated with specific countries. You work proactively and plan your actions in advance. You pay close attention to details and create your own routines.
