As the chief financial officer at Embark you will play a key role in developing and implementing financial strategies to improve and maintain the financial health of our studio. You are responsible for the financial decision-making, managing our studio's finances, including financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, analysis and financial reporting. You will be part of our leadership team and report into our CEO.
Examples of responsibilities
Develop and execute the financial strategy for Embark
Manage financial controls and accounting procedures
Ensure full transparency over the financial performance of the studio
Provide advice on how to increase revenue and reduce costs
Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks, and suggest ways to reduce them, in a timely manner
Propose action plans to ensure financial objectives are attained
Support the CEO with the preparation of financial plans, presentations and reports
To qualify this we believe you have
10 years experience in a senior role, working internationally with multiple and long-term computer games development teams and projects
Masters degree in Finance or Business
Excellent strategic, analytical and organizational skills
A strong passion for games, tech and a deep interest in building a profitable company
A results-oriented and strategic approach
Self-motivation, adaptivity and a team-player attitude
